Since our beginnings with our first H-type rare earth energy-saving lamps and T5 lamps, Yankon has been continuously expanding our R&D efforts and investing in innovative lighting technology. With more than 1,000 R&D staff and the lighting industry's first post-doctoral workstation, Yankon has become a nationally recognized enterprise for its technical center and energy efficiency testing laboratory.
Along with the power of industry leading research and development into lighting technology, Yankon also has large scale production capabilities. We have three large production bases in Shangyu, Zhejiang (1,000 acres), Yingtan, Jiangxi (1,000 acres) and Xiamen, Fujian (600 acres). We use high quality raw materials and imported LED chips to make long lasting LED lights.
Yankon’s Energy-Saving Light Source Recovery System
Yankon is one of the few companies that has a large-scale energy-saving light source recovery system. As early as 2005, Yankon invested 15 million RMB to introduce two sets of MRT recycling lines from Sweden and became the first base in Zhejiang Province to meet national environmental standards for our energy-recycling center. Yankon is also the only business partnering with the National Development and Reform Commission, the United Nations Development Programme, and the Global Environmental Facility to work on the national project for China to gradually phase out incandescent lights and replace them with energy-saving lamps.
